About Dave


Dave smiling cropped 234x300 About DaveDave DiNuzzo Sr. is a Catholic, young-adult, husband, father and Christ-centered entrepreneur.  He started TrueManhood.com in an attempt to capture the essence of manhood, manliness and a man’s responsibility within the family, society, the Church and in the workplace.

Dave is married to his best friend, Catherine (a Licensed Professional Counselor.)  They have two daughters, Lily and Emma, and a son, David Jr.  They enjoy family time, anything outdoors, eating great food and spending quality time with friends.  Dave thoroughly enjoys off-roading, shooting his guns, sitting by a campfire he made & started, building stuff, combing his beard and being manly.  He also thoroughly enjoys being sacrificial for his wife, loving his children, being a gentleman and running towards Christ in the Eucharist.

Dave is a former Catholic lay missionary with FOCUS (Fellowship of Catholic University Students) and the former Director of Catholic Campus Ministry at the United States Air Force Academy.  Currently, Dave is the Director of Programming for The King’s Men, a Catholic lay apostolate based in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.  The King’s Men, under Christ the King’s universal call to serve, pledge to unite and build up men in the mold of leader, protector, and provider through education, formation, action and healing.

Dave’s hobbies/interests include: his family, defending the faith, men’s ministry, public speaking, writing, blogging and helping others.

Dave graduated with a Master’s degree in Pastoral Theology from the Augustine Institute in Denver, CO and graduated from Benedictine College with a BA major in Business Administration concentrating in Finance and a minor in Theology.  Dave gained a Certificate of Catechesis and Evangelization for the College Campus from FOCUS and a Religious Education Catechist Certificate from the Archdiocese for the Military Services.

Dave is a 3rd degree member of the Knights of Columbus and a volunteer fire fighter for the local fire company.
