Into The Wild

Gentlemen – I highly suggest that you make your way towards Philadelphia (French Creek State Park, about 50 miles west of Philly) for a great retreat called “Into the Wild”  (www.intothewildweekend.com)  Into the Wild is put on by the men of “The King’s Men”, as I’ve mentioned before. (www.thekingsmen.org)  The last Into the Wild of 2010 will take place Thursday September 30th through Sunday October 3rd.  The cost is $195, including food and lodging, as well as all other equipment and tools used during the weekend.  (Financial assistance is available if needed.)

This retreat is a great use of your weekend and is very powerful.  The weekend is chalked full of manliness.  I first experienced Into the Wild last month, at a state park outside Pittsburgh and will be involved in the upcoming retreat outside of Philadelphia.  The retreat was incredible and I definitely saw the Spirit at work.  Men on the retreat were clearly growing in virtue; they were challenged, inspired, invigorated.  Men got things off their chests – thing that had been haunting them for decades.  Other men started fighting their porn addictions there.  Many men grew in their leadership abilities.  Overall, I highly recommend the weekend to all men.  If you’re a father with a son or sons age 12 or older, they can come with you – I highly recommend exposing your boys to this as well!

I’ll let you find out the details of the weekend on the retreat website (again – www.intothewildweekend.com), but let me say that you won’t be sorry that you attended.  Whether you’re a backwoods-kinda-guy with lots of experience with tools, shooting, outdoorsmen-stuff, or a slicker from the city with no experience in stuff like that at all, you will benefit from the fraternity and camaraderie with the men on the weekend.
